With the holidays just around the corner (and knowing that creatives tend to indulge in last minute shopping…ahem…I’m talking to you ?), I’ve put together a gift guide for the entrepreneur in your life! Whether you’ve got an entrepreneur bestie or in your family, or you’ve been invited to a networking White Elephant party, I’ve got you covered! Below you’ll find my must-have items for running a business, all under $25, so you can stay under budget ??
Desk Mat
There is nothing worse than your mouse falling off your standard sized mousepad when you’re working, and this desk mat eliminates that problem! It’s faux leather but feels pretty much like the real thing. Bonus points – there are tons of colors + sizes to choose from, so your favorite entrepreneur’s desk will feel like them! I have the Pink/Grey color combination in the 31.5″ x 15.7″ size (and I definitely wouldn’t go with a size smaller than this, I honestly wish mine were longer).

Laptop Stand
If your favorite biz owner works from a laptop, chances are they’re sitting hunched over their desk, hurting their back (or causing potential future damage). I use a laptop stand to help bring my screen closer to my eye height to reduce the strain on my back! I have this one, and I like that it fits my Macbook Pro perfectly, plus it comes in a few different colors.

Desk Calendar
Personally, I hate traditional planners. They’re not large enough and I can’t get everything written down in such a small space. Plus, I can’t see everything for the month at a glance! I love large desk calendars (you can also hang these on the wall) because I have tons of space to write and can see my whole month with just a quick look. I’ve been using this one for quite some time, and I honestly love it. Since it’s undated, if I fall behind and skip a month (because let’s be honest, entrepreneurship can get hectic), it’s okay, I don’t waste any pages! It doesn’t hurt that it’s got some cute greenery at the top too.

A fiction book
Every entrepreneur needs time to turn their brain off, decompress, and refuel themselves. This is something I’ve always struggled with, as my mind keeps racing about work even when I’m watching a movie, listening to music, or actively participating in an activity I enjoy. The ONLY thing that has worked for me every single time is getting sucked into a fiction book. I used to love to read books about business, development, or growth, but those just keep my brain racing! So I made the switch to fiction, and I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. Below I’ve linked a few of my favorite reads from 2022.
The Unhoneymooners – Christina Lauren
People We Meet on Vacation – Emily Henry
Friends Like These – Hannah Ellis (she has quickly become one of my all-time favorite authors)
When Life Gives You Lululemons – Lauren Weisberger
Next up, I’ll raise the budget and show you my faves under $50, so make sure to stay tuned! Happy shopping!
