Kindly Delivered is a wedding stationery company that prides itself on creating custom wedding invitations and day-of stationery. Specializing in using color in a tasteful way, Allison combines personal elements into beautifully crafted wedding suites. She wanted a brand and website that reflected her passion for storytelling through design, while also showcasing her beautiful, custom work!
We began the project by focusing on Allison’s brand identity, starting with the color palette. Inspired by her passion for using colorful designs in a beautiful and high-end way, we created a color palette that exudes timeless elegance, and truly allows her beautiful work to shine.
I worked a little bit backwards for this project…
Allison’s love for vintage postage stamps and meaningful life elements sparked an idea: to create hand-illustrated stamps based on personal items from her own life.
I illustrated all of these pieces on my iPad, then got them on my computer and vectorized them. These stamps were then incorporated into a custom pattern used throughout the brand, giving Kindly Delivered a truly unique and personal feel (not to mention the tissue paper in her gift boxes!)
Like I said, I worked backwards, so once the illustrations and pattern were finalized, I moved on to building the rest of her brand around those elements so that they could truly shine. I chose a serif font that matched the hand-drawn vibe, and Allison actually suggested this script font that a stationer she knew created, and it went perfectly!
Then I took the two monograms I created, as well as as the illustrations, and began putting together tons of different combinations that could be standalone brand elements. From wax seals to stamps, even overflowing floral envelopes, every single detail is unique to Kindly Delivered and the heart behind the business.
After every detail of the branding was finalized, we moved on to customizing the gorgeous Showit template Allison purchased. The template was tailored to ensure it would both highlight her custom work and provide an easy-to-navigate platform for visitors. By updating the layout, typography, colors, and adding custom touches like her illustrations and stamp pattern, we crafted a website that both represents Allison’s artistry and feels cohesive with her overall branding!
Last but CERTAINLY not least, we designed custom packaging!! Perhaps one of my favorite parts of my job (when I get the opportunity to do it). These details were crafted to make receiving an order from Kindly Delivered feel as special as the wedding stationery itself. The packaging features her custom brand pattern, fonts, and illustrations, offering personal touches that align with Allison’s love for storytelling. This added layer of branding ensures that the Kindly Delivered experience is memorable from the first click to the final delivery!
