I had the pleasure of working on a brand design for Bespoke Rentals – a Charlotte, North Carolina based wedding rental company with an absolutely exquisite selection that will take your event to another level! The owner, Katie, also runs a luxury wedding planning company.
When Katie first reached out to me, the biggest goal was to have a functioning website with all of their inventory that could be added to her couples’ wishlists. When we were going over the VIP Day Prep Homework, I noticed that a lot of the answers were reflective of not reaching their ideal client in the present, so it became my mission to change that!
During our day together, I was tasked with creating a unique brand design, as well as customizing a Showit website template. We started the day by going through an absolutely stunning Pinterest board, and deciding on the design direction. Once we had that, it was simply a matter of curating a color palette that felt vintage and fun, but still relevant to the wedding industry. We pulled colors and fonts, and I began designing logos and alternate designs that would make viewers have FOMO if they didn’t get their rentals from Bespoke. We even ended up with a super fun pattern that had the team over the moon with excitement!
Since Bespoke is local to Charlotte, where I live, we conducted this VIP Day in person. There were multiple times throughout the day when I turned my computer screen around to show Katie, and her assistant, Anna Blue, what I had been working on and they either gasped or teared up! It was such a sweet day spent helping even sweeter peoples’ vision for Bespoke come to life!

How did you feel about your visual identity before our VIP Day?
Honestly, confused. I obviously knew what I liked and didn’t like about certain brands, but I had no idea what I wanted for my own until I saw you pull it together for me.
How do you feel about your brand and website now that our VIP Day is complete?
Absolutely incredible! It’s bold, playful, fun and FULL of the personality I so badly wanted our brand to convey.

What do you love most about your new branding and website?
I keep using the word personality, but it’s truly what I’m most excited about! Also just the professionalism I feel our new brand and website gives off that our old one didn’t. I feel like other vendors and clients will take us more seriously now.

What would you say to a friend who was on the fence about investing in my VIP Day experience?
Why are you even still thinking about it? LOL the fact that I was nervous to invest since this isn’t my main business feels so silly to me now. My confidence in Bespoke has skyrocketed, and I can tell I’m putting so much more effort towards expanding it in other ways now that I have the confidence I originally lacked in our branding. Even my pickiest friend who ALWAYS has something to critique said it was PERFECT and everything she imagined for Bespoke and more. So many industry friends texted me raving about it.
