In March of 2023, I had the pleasure of working with Aly McCroskey of Wild Cotton Photography, who is not only a repeat client (I designed a brand for her podcast in 2021!) but she also took our family portraits in April at our family beach house! Aly is truly one of my favorite people ever, and the work she produces is beyond beautiful!
In her brand development homework, when asked about the why behind her work, Aly wrote “To create images for people that will stand the test of time, that will last for generations to come. To remind people how beautiful they are. To tell a story through joyful photos that celebrates the start of a marriage.” If that make you feel so good that you want to book a session with her right now, then I don’t know what would!
My goal was to design a brand made potential clients feel loved and served, and to know that working with Wild Cotton Photography means they’ll be having fun + making a new friend! Aly’s brand is always joyful, classic, authentic, timeless, celebratory, so we took those words and created a brand that conveyed those through color + sales psychology. The result is BEAUTIFUL if I do say so myself! Take a peek below:

How did you feel about your visual identity before we started working together?
I had the same logo/branding for almost 10 years, so it was time for it to “grow up” a little.
How do you feel about your brand now that our project is complete?
I feel that it matches the higher end type of client I hope to attract, is classic/timeless, and fits where I’m at after 12 years in business.
How would you describe your experience working with me?
