Towards the end of 2022, I had the pleasure of working with Alex Stack and her team, of Quill Creative Event Design, a wedding and corporate events planning company based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since she works both weddings and large corporate events, I was tasked with creating a brand and custom Showit web design that would combine both aspects of her business, while still being aesthetic and uniquely her!
Alex comes from a corporate event planning firm originally, and started Quill Creative in 2019. She’s since grown her team to include a group of talented other ladies, and they put on some absolutely fabulous events.
In her brand development homework, when asked about the why behind her work, Alex wrote “we love getting to do new and different creative things all the time, always get to push our boundaries and push ourselves outside of our comfort zone.” If that doesn’t inspire you to push your own boundaries and create new things for your clients, then I don’t know what would!
My goal was to create a brand + custom Showit web design that was luxurious, functional, and would keep up with the trends. Enter: this beautiful neutral color palette and fonts that will stand the test of time.
Are you ready to level-up your own business’ brand & website?
Whether your goal is to raise rates, book your dream clients, design rave-worthy client experiences, or build a life you’re obsessed with, we’ll craft a design you love showing off!
Here’s what Alex had to say about working together:
How did you feel about your visual identity before we started working together?
I didn’t feel like it fully matched my style/brand
How do you feel about your brand now that our project is complete?
I am so proud and excited to share it with clients and vendors
How would you describe your experience working with me?
It was an extremely easy process, it was like you went into my head and just pulled out exactly what I wanted but also what I didn’t know I needed!
What do you love most about your new branding and website?
I love how much more professional it looks and how easy it is to create more items internally that match perfectly
What would you say to a friend who was on the fence about investing in my design experience?
I would say I was also on the fence and it was so worth it! It’s scary to invest that much and what if you don’t like it? But working with a professional like Jordan made it so easy and just like clients trust me to bring their dreams to life I trusted her and she did the same! I am truly so happy I took the step and I have already seen where it has benefitted me!
Because to be honest with you, pretty designs are cute and all, but you’ll go much farther and faster if your brand reflects where you want to be five, ten years from now. Just saying.
Since 2018, I’ve helped over 130 female founders through the process of crafting a luxury brand fueled by their definition of success.
Whether your goal is to raise rates, book a higher caliber of clientele, design rave-worthy client experiences, or build a more flexible lifestyle, we’ll create a newfound confidence in your business with a brand you’re proud to stand behind.
Studying how your dream clients think so you can speak and sell to them in a way that resonates so freaking well.
